After completing her medical studies from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical college, Belgaum and Bangalore Medical College Hospitals in Bengaluru Karnataka. Dr Wahida pursued her further postgraduate certification in Integrative Medicine (Anthroposophic Medicine ) from Switzerland. She has been practicing Family medicine & OBG in Bangalore for more than 35 years.
Dr. Wahida is also a consultant for Holistic Integrated fertility management & Anthroposophic Integrated Cancer care. She is also the pioneer responsible for introducing Therapeutic Art to India, certified by the European Academy. Being a physician, only she is authorised to practise Curative Art Therapy in India as of now and guide other anthroposophic art therapists.

- India Representative for IVAA (International Federation of Anthroposophic medical Associations) Brussels, Belgium.
