Cancer treatment modalities like surgery / chemotherapy/ radiotherapy / Immunotherapy come with significant consequential side effects both physically as well as psychologically. As a result, not only the patient but the entire family is impacted physically, emotionally and financially. The latest improved and integrated treatment available is Mistletoe Extract treatment in cancer, this aligns with our mission to alleviate patient’s suffering, improves “quality of life” and complement conventional therapy by reducing the side effects of modern medicine. Hence the Research to study Mistletoe extracts in cancer biology in India has been initiated by Swasthyaniketan.
At present this product is not available in India. It is imported. Hence most of the patients are not able to utilize it and are not even aware of its benefits. While there are avenues to import the medicines into India through approved portals, the process is not affordable , simple , or accessible to everybody.
