After completing her medical studies from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical college, Belgaum and Bangalore Medical College Hospitals in Bengaluru Karnataka. Dr Wahida pursued her further postgraduate certification in Integrative Medicine (Anthroposophic Medicine ) from Switzerland. She has been practicing Family medicine & OBG in Bangalore for more than 35 years.
Dr. Wahida is also a consultant in holistic, integrative fertility management and anthroposophic integrative cancer care. She is a pioneer in introducing Therapeutic Art to India and is certified by the European Academy. As a physician, she is currently the only professional in India authorised to practice Curative Art Therapy and to guide other anthroposophic art therapists.

- India Representative for IVAA (International Federation of Anthroposophic medical Associations) Brussels, Belgium.
